Access gives you 24-hour online access to your OPPA
Credit Union accounts. You can:
- Transfer funds (future dated,
immediate and recurring)
- View and print your statement
information for up to 6 months
- Pay bills (current or postdated)
- Search for specific account information
- Look up current US dollar and
British pound exchange rates
- Transfer funds from one member’s
account to another (within the OPPA Credit Union)
To Get Set up
Contact your Member Service Advisor
to set up your personal access code. This code
ensures the security and confidentiality of your access.
It’s the same access code you use for telephone
banking. Remember your access code is confidential and
private and must not be revealed to anyone.

E-Transfer Now Available
Send and Receive Money Quickly and Securely!!
Our members can now send money from their OPPA Credit
Union accounts via Online Banking to any other person/account,
provided they have an email address and an account with
any of the following financial institutions: BMO,
RBC, TD Canada Trust, CIBC, Scotia bank, and some Canadian
credit unions.
With INTERAC® E-Transfer, your money
never actually travels by email or text message. All you need is mobile or online access to a participating financial institution and you can send money to anyone with an e-mail address or mobile phone number and a bank account in Canada. Email and text messages are only
used to notify the recipient of the pending transfer
and to provide them with instructions on how to deposit
the money.
To send an INTERAC® E-Transfer, log into
Online Banking and click on Transfers and follow the
steps below:
- Click on the Money Transfer Recipient
List (located on the left)
- Click on Add A Recipient. Input
the recipient's name, email address or mobile phone number, create a security
question and answer, then click on Continue
- Click on Send E-Transfer
Select which account you are transferring
from
Indicate the amount (the maximum E-Transfer
amount is $1,000.00 per day.)
Select the recipient
Click on Continue
Click on Confirm (once confirmed, funds and the $1.50
service fee are immediately withdrawn from yourAccount.)
- Recipient will receive INTERAC®
E-Transfer notification to deposit the funds
into their account. (Link will be attached to
email)
- Once the recipient deposits the
money sent, you will receive an email or text message indicating the
transfer for X amount of dollars was accepted.
The transfer is now complete.
